PSOJ partners with Digitopia to boost AI readiness for local businesses
The Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ) has teamed up with global digital transformation firm Digitopia in a new strategic partnership aimed at enhancing artificial intelligence (AI) readiness among Jamaican businesses.
As part of the initiative, both PSOJ members and non-members will gain access to a free, abbreviated Digital and AI Maturity Assessment, which includes a 20-minute survey designed for companies with 10 or more employees across all industries. Participating businesses will also receive a personalised, confidential report that tracks their digital and AI capabilities against global standards.
“This assessment gives our members valuable insights into where they stand digitally and what steps they can take to remain competitive,” said Sacha Vaccianna-Riley, executive director of the PSOJ. “In today’s business environment, understanding your digital and AI maturity is essential for growth and sustainability.”
This latest collaboration that builds on the PSOJ and Digitopia’s ongoing efforts follows an initial partnership that was launched in June to accelerate digital transformation and AI adoption across Jamaica’s private sector.
In this next phase, Digitopia will support PSOJ members and affiliates in measuring, managing, and maximising their digital and AI maturity. Leveraging its cloud-based, AI-powered solutions and a global footprint, the digital firm currently serves clients, partners, and practitioners across six continents and more than 30 countries.
As AI adoption becomes increasingly vital for competitiveness, businesses are more and more being encouraged to embrace the technology to remain innovative and resilient. By integrating digital tools to enhance decision-making, automate routine tasks, improve customer experiences, and uncover valuable data-driven insights, companies can increase efficiency, reduce costs, and adapt more quickly-to-market changes — ultimately positioning themselves for long-term growth and success.
The data-driven transformation being piloted by Digitopia is, therefore, seen as a key to sustainable growth, backed by a partnership that will allow its expert team to equip businesses with the clarity and direction they need to thrive. The planned assessment is, therefore, set to evaluate organisations across three core areas, namely customer, operations and technology, with integrated AI maturity insights.
Companies that complete the survey by October 15 will be eligible for a free consultation with a Digitopia expert. The final deadline for survey submissions is November 30, with initial findings set to be presented at an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) forum for Jamaican corporates in early November.
“We’re seeing businesses across all industries recognise that digital transformation isn’t optional anymore. This free assessment removes barriers and provides actionable intelligence that companies can use immediately,” said Christopher Reckord, chair of PSOJ’s Innovation and Digital Transformation Committee.
