Kintyre Holdings expands real estate portfolio with $110m Stony Hill investment
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Kintyre Holdings has acquired a prime property in Stony Hill, St Andrew, for $110 million, in a move aimed at expanding its real estate portfolio through its subsidiary, Parallel Real Estate Ventures Limited.
The company announced the acquisition on Monday, describing it as part of a strategic push into premium residential subdivision and lot sales.
According to President and Chief Executive Officer of Kintyre Holdings, Tyrone Wilson, the property will be subdivided into two luxury villa lots and three modern townhome lots, each sold with pre-approved architectural plans and covenants. The goal is to create a high-end residential environment, giving buyers turnkey investment or build-ready opportunities.
While Parallel Real Estate Ventures remains focused on larger developments, such as The Chalet at Bengal Beach, the company says this acquisition signals a diversification strategy by integrating projects with shorter monetisation timelines, such as land subdivisions and premium lot sales. The company aims to balance its portfolio between long-term capital appreciation and shorter cash conversion cycles.
“Not every project we take on will be a full three-to-five-year development build,” Wilson explained.
He continued, “Through Parallel, we’re creating a balanced portfolio that combines flagship developments with strategic transactions that unlock value faster. By diversifying our project timelines and cash conversion cycles, we’re strengthening cash flow and accelerating returns, while still building long-term value through larger developments.”
Parallel Real Estate Ventures has been a strong contributor to Kintyre Holdings’ overall performance since last year, driving profit growth and increased shareholder equity.
The acquisition underscores Kintyre Holdings’ position as a diversified investment company, with Parallel executing a blend of development, subdivision and asset monetisation initiatives to maximise value.
