Dixon, Nicholson to start against Bermuda in WCQ

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Strikers Kaheim Dixon and Shamar Nicholson have been handed starting positions, while Kasey Palmer and Isaac Hayden have returned from suspensions for Jamaica’s final round World Cup Concacaf Group B qualification return game against Bermuda at the National Stadium in Kingston on Tuesday.

Dixon and Nicholson had come on as substitutes in Jamaica’s loss to Curacao on Friday and replaced Bailey Cadamarteri and Tyreece Campbell.

Palmer and Hayden return to the midfield replacing Ian Fray and Jonathon Russell, while Greg Leigh will replace Amari’i Bell at left back.

The ReaggeBoyz who had beaten Bermuda 4-0 in the first round, is hoping to rebound immediately with a win against the team sitting at the foot of the points table, yet to score a point.

Starting XI-

Andre Blake, Dexter Lembikisa, Ethan Pinnock, Richard King, Kasey Palmer, Kaheim Dixon, Bobby Reid, Shamar Nicholson, Isaac Hayden, Renaldo Cephas, Gregory Leigh.

– Paul Reid
