Firearm found on church premises in St Elizabeth
ST Elizabeth, Jamaica — A Smith and Wesson Revolver was reportedly found at a church in the Carisbrook district of the Maggotty area in St Elizabeth on Sunday.
Reports from the head of the St Elizabeth Police Division, Superintendent Coleridge Minto, are that at approximately 7:00 pm, a team of officers acting on intelligence conducted an operation at a church in the area.
Upon arrival, the officers reportedly conducted a thorough search of the compound.
During the search, the firearm was discovered wrapped in an orange piece of cloth near the rear perimeter fence.
No one was arrested.
