Gas prices down $2.19, $2.50, diesel down $1.04
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, October 16, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
90-octane will be sold for $161.03 per litre, after a $2.50 decline, while 87-octane will be sold for $154.42 per litre after a $2.19 dip.
Meanwhile, automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $166.31 per litre, after a decline of $1.04 and ultra-low sulphur diesel $172.31 per litre, after a decline of $1.42.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $73.98 per litre, down by $0.25, and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $81.98 per litre, down by $0.25.
Kerosene will be sold for $152.26, up by $0.25.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective markup to these prices.
