Music producer Richard Roache has released the Santa Jamaica rhythm featuring Tifa, Elephant Man, Lukie D, Singer J, RDX, Delly Ranx, Singer J, and Yahsha Elishua.

The 16-track project was produced by his Digital One Music label and officially released on September 26.

“I’m a lover of old school sounds from the 80s and the 90s so this project reflects that. Being born in the late 70s I grew up on the original drum and bass then transitioned into the digital era. With people saying the modern sound has shifted, I wanted to dabble in a mix of modern with futuristic sounds, dipping into the old school sound,” Roache said.

No stranger to hits, Roache is appreciative of the response to the rhythm so far, with the first single Can’t Cancel Me by Tifa skyrocketing to #1 on the iTunes Reggae charts in the US. It has also been added to iHeart Radio stations, as well as added to international radio station rotations in the US, Caribbean, London and Europe.

“Digital One is always one to fuse sounds but never to take away the authentic sound of what Jamaican music is. We’re looking forward to nothing but growth and delivering what fans deserve to hear in reggae and dancehall spaces,” the producer added.

Completed in just a few days, the rhythm was made possible by the entire Digital One team.

“I want to specially shout out Askell who made this beat possible. I went to him with an idea, told him where I wanted to go, and this was the end result. I also want to highlight Fire Wayne of Echo One who is one of my main people — engineer, producer, friend — who contributed in a major way. I’m never one to keep all the glory without praising my entire team, so I’m extremely grateful,” Roache continued.

Meanwhile, Tifa, who has been working closely with Roache, is very upbeat about the project.

“I can say easily that this is one solid body of work,” Tifa said.

The artiste recently landed a spot on Fox network’s major late-night talk show Goodnight New York.

She now joins the elite class of Jamaican acts like Sean Paul, Beenie Man and Elephant Man who have been featured on the show. Outside of Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Tifa is the only Jamaican female to be so featured.

The platform reached out to the artiste and her team based on the continuing success of her most recent singles
I Want A Man and Can’t Cancel Me.

She also completed interviews with Irie Jam Radio in New York and TMZ’s Joy Daily as well as a performance at the prestigious Newark Library in New Jersey with Famed DJ Max Glazer & Bunkr.

The artiste is also looking forward to her upcoming Can’t Cancel Me birthday tour this December.
