Former champions Cornwall College and Kemps Hill High completed the qualifiers for the round of 16 in the ISSA daCosta Cup on Monday after Kemps Hill beat Frome Technical 2-0 in their rescheduled round of 32 Group 1 game at Wembley Centre of Excellence.

The result saw three teams finish on six points, Cornwall College winning the group with a better goal-difference of plus 13, followed by Kemps Hill’s plus two while Frome Technical finished with zero goal-difference.

The game was originally set to be played on Saturday along with the other final set of round of 32 games but a water-logged field at Foga Road saw it being rescheduled for Monday at a new venue.

Robinho Rodney scored in the 10th minute to give Kemps Hill the lead and Ricardo Dean converted from the penalty spot in the 49th minute after Shemar Daley was fouled in the 18 yards box.

Kemps Hill rallied to win their last two games after being beaten 2-0 by Cornwall College in their opening round of 32 game. On Wednesday, they beat Cedric Titus 6-4 at William Knibb.

Frome Technical needed just a point on Monday after they had won their first two games in the round of 32, edging Cedric Titus 3-2 then beating Cornwall College 2-1.

After being by Frome on Wednesday, Cornwall College hammered out of contention Cedric Titus High 13-1 on Saturday.

The other qualifiers for the Round of 16 are Ocho Rios High and Maggotty High from Group 2; Christiana High and Mannings School from Group 3, STETHS and Maldon High from Group 4; Glenmuir High and Manchester High from Group 5; Dinthill Technical and Clarendon College from Group 6; Garvey Maceo High and Old Harbour High from Group 7 and McGrath High and William Knibb Memorial from Group 8.
