The highly anticipated Frenchmen Weekend rolled up to Ocho Rios last Saturday with the Rise Up breakfast-inclusive cooler fête and its French Riviera theme.
Scores of faithfuls and newly minted ‘Frenchies’ made their way to Pearly Beach to soak up the 30-plus of years of Frenchmen vibe.
“The feedback for today has been awesome, from reactions to the non-stop party vibes, décor and all the premium elements that are put in place for patron comfort. It’s a lot of work but the positive feedback today makes it all worth it. This was a great start as we move into the rest of the weekend,” said Brett Wong, manager, Frenchmen.
Entertainment duties were helmed by DJs Marc Chin, Heavy D and Lantern with Fyahman as MC, and they did not disappoint. The team kept pace and took patrons through several musical genres and eras with a packed beach still in place at the after-2:00 pm end.
