A prayer for the nation
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
God is with us. We must pray during the passage of Hurricane Melissa. We must believe, we must have strength. The brothers and myself and our associates want us to be wise not to become fearful, take courage and be sensible. Do as the Government instructs.
Missionaries of the Poor, Food for the Poor, Missionaries of the Poor Sisters and Mustard Seed will do all we can. Follow the instructions, take precautions in your homes and protect your loved ones.
Be careful of floods and find some place to stay. Let us all together do what we can, taking care of all our loved ones and our homes and also taking care of each other. We are a brotherhood and nationhood. Pray! Pray! Pray! that God will be merciful. Guard and protect us, Lord and let us help each other in any way we can. Let us storm heaven with our prayers specially. Remember to protect the poor and the needy. God bless you all.
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
He leads me beside quiet waters,
He refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for His name’s sake.
Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil
my cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
