Every year, October brings communities together worldwide to stand in solidarity and raise awareness in the battle against breast cancer. Pinktober — a nickname for Breast Cancer Awareness Month — is a reminder about the importance of unity, strength, and knowledge. However, in all its glory, Pinktober is so much more than a beautiful show of solidarity through a colour that has defined feminism for ages. It is about raising awareness, promoting early detection, and supporting those affected by the disease.

To do this, we’re rounding out the month with more pink tees, this time from trendy custom T-shirt brand Tee Tingz. Director Stephanie Shaw launched her first breast cancer awareness collection in 2021, the same year her cousin was diagnosed with the disease. “That’s what ultimately inspired me to create the collection, to not only raise awareness, but also to gain additional funds to assist her with medical expenses,” Shaw tells Tuesday Style Fashion (TSF). Unfortunately, her cousin lost her battle last year, but Shaw has decided to continue the fight. “This year, I have expanded the breast cancer awareness collection with two new designs created to uplift, inspire, and remind us all that faith and perseverance can conquer even the toughest battles,” says Shaw. The new T-shirts include messages ‘He Can Heal Cancer’, a bold reminder that with God, nothing is impossible, and ‘Never Give Up!’, a message of hope and resilience for the women fighting and the people supporting them.
