Kajj taps in his dynamism
Recording artiste Kajj has delivered a dynamic track which dabbles in dancehall, trap, and Afrobeat titled Funeral Clothes.
It was produced by Pert Entertainment.
“This song is basically a masterpiece that highlights local scenes and happenings in and around my environment. It was inspired by just taking a minute of my time to actually acknowledge what’s really taking place in my surroundings,” he said in explaining the song’s message.
Since its release the track has been receiving positive feedback; being touted as relatable and a potential anthem for music lovers.
The official music video has amassed over 52,000 views on YouTube, so far.
Shot in the artiste’s hometown in Moneague, St Ann, the video was done by Duckie Got Films and Retro Media Entertainment.
“I hope this song will reach its fullest potential. Also, I don’t expect anyone to cast their judgement against me for putting emphasis on what I have seen and turned into art, but I hope it surpasses the boundaries that were initially set for it,” he added.
Aiming to keep his music realistic and meaningful, Kajj added that his lyrics are based on facts with evidence to provide a clearer understanding for listeners.
Past releases include Summer Time, Come Ova, and Safe Without You.
There are plans underway to end the year with new music.
“I have a project that’s about to be released very soon; it’s a single called Silly Town Boy, which will show how creative and versatile I can be as an artiste. You can look out for this and others because I have a lot more projects in store,” Kajj said.
