Buju Banton alleges relief items stolen at port
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Reggae superstar Buju Banton is among several people complaining that containers filled with relief items for those affected by Hurricane Melissa are being stolen at the port.
In a post on Instagram, Buju said he could no longer stay quiet about what was happening.
“The things are being stolen at the very port look at this. Why. Why. why,” the post read in part.
The message was shared along with a photo showing a half-filled barrel.

Other social media users shared similar stories, saying their barrels and containers with items have gone missing or arrived half empty.
