Reggae Boyz striker Shamar Nicholson (right) is comforted by a fan after the national team played to a goalless draw with Curaçao in their final round World Cup qualifier at the National Stadium Tuesday night. The result denied Jamaica an automatic qualification to next year’s FIFA World Cup being hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The Reggae Boyz, however, will have another chance to qualify for the tournament through an inter-confederation playoff in which they could meet either Iraq, DR Congo, Bolivia, or New Macedonia.
