KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Unicomer Group has donated 100 twin and double mattresses, with an additional 200 units and other essential items to follow, to Food for the Poor Jamaica as part of its continued support for recovery efforts after Hurricane Melissa.

“Unicomer Group is committed to helping those affected by this storm. We know that rebuilding homes and restoring a sense of normalcy is important. With this donation, our hope is to bring a meaningful measure of comfort to families as they rebuild their lives,” she said.
In the immediate aftermath of the hurricane, the company pledged more than $75 million to support both its team members and the wider public impacted by the disaster.

She said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to providing both immediate relief and long-term support as communities recover from Hurricane Melissa.
