Jamaican music producer and recording artiste Rvssian continues to bear gifts as his 2024 hit collaboration Santa featuring Rauw Alejandro and Nigerian singer Ayra Starr, has hit a new milestone.

Two weeks ago, the song was certified gold in France, for the sales and streaming equivalent of more than 100,000 units.

In an interview earlier this year with the Observer Online, Rvssian commented on the song’s commercial success and previous Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certification, stating: “This really means a lot, it’s just another form of accreditation towards our achievements.”

Santa was previously certified 3x platinum in Mexico (490,000), 5x platinum in Spain (300,000) and 16x platinum (Latin) United States (US) for more than 960,000 units.

Santa made charts in Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Panama, Spain and Switzerland.  It also made strides on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs, Latin Rhythm Airplay and Latin Airplay charts.

It is featured on Rauw Alejandro’s 6th studio album Cosa Nuestra: Capitulo O which was released in September.
