TO bolster national relief efforts for Hurricane Melissa, Seaboard Jamaica has donated eight 40-foot shipping containers — valued at $7 million — to the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF).
The Pan Jamaica Group coordinated the initiative, leveraging the network of its Global Services Division to provide crucial logistical support to the JDF.
These secure and mobile containers will be essential for storing and deploying humanitarian and rebuilding supplies across affected communities. This public-private partnership significantly strengthens the JDF’s rapid response capacity and underscores an unwavering commitment from both companies to Jamaica’s recovery. The highlights are in today’s Business Social.
