‘D one’ charged with robbery with aggravation
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A Kingston man has been charged with robbery with aggravation following an incident on Heywood Street in the parish, on Thursday, November 27.
He is 18-year-old Damoy Rhoden, otherwise called ‘D One’, of Fleet Street, in Kingston.
According to police reports, about 3:00 pm, Rhoden, along with seven other men, reportedly approached a boy who was standing along the roadway. One of the culprits who had a knife, allegedly held up the boy and robbed him of cash and other property before the group made their escape in the area.
A report was made, and Rhoden was pointed out to the police the following day. He was subsequently apprehended and taken into custody, where he was charged.
His court date is being finalised.
