Curfew imposed in sections of the St Andrew North police division

KINGSTON, Jamaica—A 48-hour curfew has been imposed for the communities of Park Lane and 100 Lane, Red Hills Road in St Andrew.

The curfew began at 6:00 pm on Monday, December 1, and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm on Wednesday, December 3.

The boundaries of the curfew are:

North: From the intersection of Red Hills Road and Pennant Terrace to the intersection of Pennant Drive and Pennant Terrace, about 219 meters.

East: Along Pennant Drive from the intersection of Pennant Terrace to the intersection of Whitehall Avenue, about 261 metres.

South: Along Whitehall Avenue from the intersection of Pennant Drive to the intersection of Red Hills Road, about 370 metres.

West: Along Red Hills Road from the intersection of Whitehall Avenue to the intersection of Pennant Terrace, about 315 metres.

During the hours of the curfew, people within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
