Dr Chang ‘recovering well’ after medical procedure

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Security and Peace, Dr Horace Chang, is recovering well after undergoing an elective medical procedure over the weekend.

According to a statement from the Office of the Prime Minister issued on Monday, the deputy prime minister is expected to make a full recovery. No further details were provided about the procedure.

In the interim, Prime Minister Andrew Holness will oversee the operations of the Ministry of National Security and Peace.

Government officials extended well-wishes to Dr Chang, expressing hope for his speedy recovery and a timely return to official duties.
