Recipe Corner… Rainforest Easy-Bake Basa Dinner

Preparing something simple and nutritious just got easier, as this recipe courtesy of Rainforest, will please every palate.

Rainforest Easy-Bake Basa Dinner

Ready in just 20 minutes — simple, hearty, and full of Rainforest flavour.

Ingredients

• 1 lb Rainforest Basa Fish Fillets

• 1 tbsp cajun seasoning (a blend of garlic, paprika, onion, and ginger for a bold, smoky flavour)

• 1 tsp lemon pepper (zesty and bright, no extra lemon juice needed!)

• 1 tbsp Rainforest Bottled Seafood Seasoning

• 1 tsp Italian seasoning (a mix of thyme, oregano, parsley & rosemary for a cosy herb finish)

• A drizzle of olive oil or melted butter

• Optional: Fresh herbs, a squeeze of lime, chilli flakes, or a dash of hot sauce if you like it spicy.

Method

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Pat dry Rainforest Basa Fillets and lightly brush or spray with olive oil or melted butter.

3. Mix all your seasonings in a small bowl, this is where the magic starts!

4. Rub the seasoning blend all over the fish, pressing gently so every bite is packed with flavour.

5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the fish flakes easily with a fork and fills your kitchen with that delicious Rainforest aroma.

6. Serve hot with steamed veggies, rice, or roasted potatoes — a full, hearty meal in no time.

Rainforest Tip:

For an extra burst of island flavour, finish fish with a squeeze of lime and a sprinkle of fresh parsley right before serving.
