48-hour curfew imposed in sections of Hanover
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in sections of Green Island and Orange Bay in Hanover.
The curfew began at 6:00 pm on Friday and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm, on Sunday, December 7.
The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:
North: From Orange Bay Square along highway at the small bridge beside Lobster Smoke house
East: from the small bridge beside Lobster Smoke house to the March Town Square
South: From March Town Square to the entrance of Dam Road
West: From the entrance to Dam Road, along the main road, to Orange Bay Square.
During the hours of the curfew, individuals within the boundaries are required to remain indoors, unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
