Caribbean Alternative Investments Association (CARAIA) recently hosted its annual mixer, an intimate forum designed to bring together executives, industry professionals, fund managers, investors, and other key stakeholders to explore the future of alternative investments in the region.

Chaired by Berisford Grey, CARAIA continues to use this platform to encourage dialogue around the evolving landscape of alternative investment.

Held at Sygnus, the Caribbean’s leading alternative investment firm, also led by Grey, this year’s discussion centred on the role of alternative investment in Jamaica’s recovery following Hurricane Melissa.

CARAIA remains committed to strengthening the capacity of stakeholders to navigate the complexities of alternative investments and mobilise innovative funding solutions, whether directly or through partnerships with local, regional, or international funds. By expanding access to financing and supporting sustainable deal structures, the region is better-positioned to accelerate economic growth, build climate resilience, and deepen its presence on the global investment stage.
