We’re rocking with Burgerman to these Christmas carols this year

With Christmas just over two weeks away, what’s the holiday season without some really good tunes to set the mood?

This year, our very own Burgerman from Edge 105 FM is sharing his top Christmas picks— songs that promise good vibes, nostalgic memories and lots of Christmas spirit.

So turn up the radio, grab a slice of fruitcake and enjoy these festive favourites.

Santa Claus (Do You Ever Come to the Ghetto?) — Chronixx

Originally performed by Carlene Davis and Trinity, this heartfelt cultural classic is a modern roots revival from Chronixx. It’s soulful, reflective and still hits home every Christmas.

This Christmas — Chris Brown

A smooth, feel-good R&B favourite that instantly brightens any holiday gathering. It’s the perfect soundtrack for decorating the tree or cruising on Christmas morning.

Christmas Time — Stevie Wonder

Stevie Wonder brings pure joy with this timeless tune—uplifting, warm and ideal for getting into the holiday spirit.

Give Love On Christmas Day — Jackson 5

A sweet reminder of what the season is all about: showing love. Young Michael’s voice adds a nostalgic charm that never gets old.

All I Want for Christmas Is You — Mariah Carey

It wouldn’t be Christmas without Mariah Carey’s iconic anthem. Once this plays, it’s officially the holiday season!

Crime Free Christmas — Taurus Riley

Forming part of the Crime Free Christmas Project of 2016, Tarrus delivers a positive message wrapped in his smooth vocals, promoting peace and unity during the festive season.

12 Days of Christmas — Busy Signal

Also part of the Crime Free Christmas Project of 2016, Busy Signal puts a dancehall twist on the classic Christmas countdown, giving it energy, humour and plenty of Jamaican flavour.

Gee Whiz, It’s Christmas — Carla Thomas

A soulful throwback that blends beautifully into any Christmas playlist. It’s soft, nostalgic and perfect for a cosy evening.

When A Child Is Born — Boney M

A Caribbean household staple! Once Boney M starts playing, everyone knows the season has truly begun.
