UPDATE: Couple dies in St Ann crash
ST ANN, Jamaica — A Trelawny couple has died due to injuries sustained in a two- vehicle collision on a section of the Queens Highway, near Discovery Bay in St Ann, Thursday morning.
The deceased have been identified as 35-year-old Dale Robert and 28-year-old Sashalee Willimas.
Williams would have celebrated her 29th birthday on December 19.
The collision involved a white Toyota Hiace bus and black Toyota RAV4, which was being driven by Robert at the time of the incident.
Reports are that both vehicles were traveling in an opposite direction, when the RAV4 which was traveling towards Discovery Bay collided with the Hiace bus.
Both vehicles came to a stop on the soft shoulder heading towards Falmouth.
The occupants of the bus were also injured but are in stable conditions.
The couple both of Spicy Hill, near Duncans in Trelawny, shares a child.
