We Jammin makes winning debut at Caymanas Park
WE Jammin, a two-year-old chestnut colt bred by Bern Identity out of the Traditional mare Jammin, made a winning debut at Caymanas Park on Saturday, December 13, 2025, taking the $1.01-million Abbie Grannum Memorial Cup.
Trained by Peter-John Parsard and ridden by Omar Walker, We Jammin edged out favourite
Senor Biscotti (Dane Dawkins) by a neck over seven furlongs (1,400m). We Jammin finished the maiden special weight contest for native-bred two-year-olds in 1:29.4 (23.4 x 48.0 x 1:14.1)
We Jammin broke off well at the start of the race and settled into third position down the backstretch behind The Chef Master (Natalie Berger) and Blood Diamond (Christopher Mamdeen).
We Jammin bided his time well until going into the half-mile (800m) turn, when he challenged
Blood Diamond for the lead.
With the momentum going his way, We Jammin hit the front full of running approaching the distance and kicked clear at the top of the lane. In the end We Jammin held off the fast-finishing
Senor Biscotti for the win. London Spirit (Jerome Innis) finished in third place.
