Mystic lights up the world
Christmas is universally known as the season of giving. With this in mind, recording artiste Mystic has joined the charge for more positivity with the track the Light Up The World.
Produced by Mystic Muzik, the track was officially released on November 28.
“The song is about encouraging the whole (as one people) to be more caring and helpful to others, especially for those in need. I want to show that there is so much we can do for each other to make the world a better place,” the singer told the Jamaica Observer’s Splash about the song’s message.
As an artiste who was active in the 90s, he is getting his footing back in the music scene with this new track being the relaunch of his career.
“The inspiration for the song is just a reflection of who I am as a person. I’m always ready to help others, no matter how small the need maybe, so the song just flowed effortlessly from my heart,” Mystic added.
Born Marcel Rhoden in Kingston, Jamaica, Mystic has been on a musical journey that spans over 40 years. His style of music can be described as a mix of many genres, showcasing his versatility and ability to adapt to different sounds.
As he works towards getting his career back on track, the artiste is taking his music to higher heights, with more projects in the works that will be revealed in the coming months.
“I’ve gotten very good feedback on this track so far. People have used words like big tune, great song, uplifting, motivating, things like that. I’m using this energy to get the momentum going and show the world what Mystic has to offer,” he continued.
