Leon Bailey subbed after 20 minutes in latest injury setback
Leon Bailey’s frustrating season with injuries continued Saturday with the Roma winger forced out of a Serie A match against Juventus only 20 minutes after coming on as a substitute.
The Jamaican international came on as a substitute in the 53rd minute with Roma trailing 1-0.
However, according to Roma Press, he suffered a hamstring injury and was forced off the field in the 73rd minute after Juventus doubled the lead.
The match ended 2-1 in favour of The Old Lady.
Since joining Roma on loan from Aston Villa in the summer, Bailey has spent extended periods on the sideline with injury.
He had returned to the side in late November after missing a series of games with a thigh issue.
