Stony Hill teen on wounding rap after stabbing incident
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A 17-year-old student of Temple Heights district, Stony Hill, St Andrew, has been charged with wounding with intent following an incident in his community on Tuesday, December 9.
Reports from the Stony Hill Police are that about 4:30 pm, the boy brandished a knife during an argument and inflicted stab wounds to another teen’s head and upper body.
The injured teen was assisted to the hospital, where he was treated.
Following an investigation into the stabbing, the 17-year-old was taken into custody and charged after he was pointed out on an identification parade on Saturday, December 20.
His court date is being finalised.
