Belleza Gris bounces back with dominant maiden win
BELLEZA Gris, conditioned by Patrick Lynch, has bounced back from a sixth-place finish on debut on November 15, 2025 to win a Maiden Condition race at Caymanas Park on Saturday.
The four-year-old bay filly, ridden by Jerome Innis, dominated the competition, winning by 4¼ lengths in a time of 1:02.2 over five furlongs (1,000m) straight.
Belleza Gris took control of the race early, breaking off well at the start and disputing the lead with several contenders including Girlythebutcher (Javonne Prince), Boasey Girl (Shaheem Girl),
Sweet Bern (Raddesh), and Lady Katghara (Joy Haynes) before pulling away to a comfortable win.
The bay filly showed strong pace and stamina when crossing the dummy rails and heading onto the main track, leaving the competition behind. She finished ahead of Boasey Girl and Sweet Bern, cementing her comeback from a disappointing debut.
