Peter-John Parsard shines with three winners at Caymanas Park
PETER-JOHN Parsard, one of the most youthful and talented trainers at Caymanas Park, continued to make waves on the racing scene. On Saturday, December 20, 2025 he saddled three winners, marking his 31st victory for the season and solidifying his fifth-place position in the trainers’ standings.
Parsard started his run in the third race when his charge, Uncle Peck, easily won the $780,000 Restricted Allowance IV contest for native-bred four-year-olds and upward (non-winners of three) and imported four-year-olds and upward (non-winners of two) over 7½ furlongs (1,500m).
Ridden by Dane Dawkins, Uncle Peck won by 6¼ lengths ahead of Princess Cataleya (Richie Shakes) and Noble Sovereign (Tajay Suckoo) in a time of 1:35.4 (24.3 x 48.2 x 1:14.4 x 1:28.3).
His second winner came in the sixth race — a $1.05-million Restricted Maiden Condition race for native-bred three-year-olds — with Feeling Free, ridden by Jereau Stewart. Feeling Free won the four-furlong (800m) contest by 2½ lengths, beating Runaway Bay (Demar Williams) and
Lauren’s Secret (Emelio McLean). The final time was 47.4 (24.1 x 35.2).
The cap came in the very next race when I’m Outstanding (Bebeto Harvey) won the $1.1-million Restricted Allowance II contest for native-bred three-year-olds (non-winners of two) and imported three-year-olds and upward (maiden) over seven furlongs (1,400m).
I’m Outstanding won the race by six lengths ahead of stablemate Roaring Kitty (Jerome Innis) and
Four Thirty (Carlton Malcolm). The final time was 1:28.4.
