TWENTY-SIX young ladies, whose ages range between 20 and 38 years, will compete for the 2026 Miss Global Jamaica title.
The finalists were revealed to the public on Sunday during a launch and sashing extravaganza at Footprints Café in New Kingston.
The event was hosted by Miss Universe Jamaica 2025 second runner-up and Miss Grand Jamaica 2025 Mattea Mahal Smith.
Jermane Blair, franchisee for the Miss Global Jamaica pageant, was pleased with the programme with this being his debut run.
“We are about empowerment and growth of our women, and we are aiming to bring transparency and consistency to the pageant space through the brand of Miss Global Jamaica,” Blair told the Jamaica Observer shortly after the event ended.
The contestants appeared first in formal wear and then the exciting swimwear segment, which excited attendees.
Gospel recording artiste Alicia Taylor thrilled the audience with a powerful performance that kept patrons on the edge of their seats.
With 190 View Productions as the pageant’s title sponsor, the Miss Global Jamaica contestants are in preparation mode, with rehearsals and training being held for eight days over four weekends.
The coronation show is scheduled for January 24, 2026 at Douglas Orane Auditorium at Wolmer’s Boys’ School.
Said Blair: “We will have a prejudging interview as well as swimwear and evening gown. On coronation night the girls will be eliminated to a Top 15 and then a Top 10 before we announce the Top 5 and then the Top 3. The Top 10 will be judged on evening gown followed by a question-and-answer segment.”
