Police searching for motorist involved in MoBay hit-and- run
ST JAMES, Jamaica — The St James police are searching for a motorist involved in a fatal hit-and-run on Monday evening on the Queen’s Drive main road.
The driver fled the scene after mowing down a man as the now deceased walked along the roadway.
The deceased man’s identity has not yet been revealed, but he was wearing a grey shorts and a grey shirt when he was found.
Reports are that he was at the intersection, which leads to the back entrance into the airport and also leads to the community of Flanker.
Reports are just before 7:00 pm, the man was struck by a passing motor vehicle leaving him with multiple injuries and several broken bones.The car did not stop.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
