3 KC students receive BUSS The Youths scholarships
THREE Kingston College (KC) students — Joshua Singh, Garth Bloomfield, and Brenton Williams — were on December 6 named recipients of the BUSS (Build, Uplift, Strengthen and Support) The Youths scholarships for the 2025–2026 academic year.
The scholarship programme is the brainchild of KC past student Dr Stephan Neill who said this year’s awards are in celebration of KC’s 100th anniversary.
“This is the third iteration of our scholarship programme, and this is the first time we have proudly awarded three students,” Dr Neill said. “Each full-year scholarship is valued at $70,000 while the half-year scholarship is valued at $35,000.
Singh and Bloomfield both received full-year scholarships, while Williams won a half-year scholarship.
“These scholarships reflect our ongoing commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders as we commemorate a century of excellence at Kingston College,” said Dr Neill. “We are delighted to support these remarkable students.”
