The late Don Wehby, retired Group CEO, GraceKennedy Limited, was celebrated on Monday, December 15 at a ceremony at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel in Kingston, marking his induction into the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica’s (PSOJ) prestigious Hall of Fame. Wehby, who passed away on July 26, 2025, served GraceKennedy for 30 years — including as Group CEO from July 2011 to February 2025 — and played a pivotal role in the company’s growth into a global consumer group, proudly headquartered in Jamaica. He also made significant contributions to national development through public service, first as a senator and minister without portfolio in the Ministry of Finance and the Public Service from 2007 to 2009 and again as a senator from 2016 to 2024.
