No parking permitted on Palisadoes Road to view fireworks — police

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Members of the public are being advised that parking along the Palisadoes main road in Kingston for the purpose of viewing fireworks is illegal and strictly prohibited on Wednesday, December 31.

According to the police, no vehicles will be permitted to park on the roadway.

In addition, parking will not be permitted on the right-hand side of the road heading towards the Norman Manley International Airport between 5:00 pm on Wednesday and 12:30 am on Thursday.

Motorists found in breach will be prosecuted and their vehicles will be towed, the police said.
