48-hour curfew imposed in sections of Malcolm Heights, Hanover
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in Malcolm Heights and its environs in Hanover.
The curfew began at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, January 5, and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 8.
The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:
North: From A at the T-junction at Millers Drive running along the Millers Drive main road to B on the Lucea one way road vicinity SKLO Harberdashery
South: From B at the SKLO Harberdashery along main road leading to C at the GVS Gas Station at the entrance of Old road Lucea
East: From C at the GVS Gas station along old road to D, Deep Corner in Malcolm Heights
West: From D at Deep Corner in Malcolm Heights running along the Malcolm Heights main road A at T-Junction at Millers Drive
During the hours of the curfew, people within the boundaries are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
