Dunbeholden FC hammer Treasure Beach 4-0 in JPL
ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — Dunbeholden FC hammered promoted Treasure Beach FC 4-0 in their rescheduled Jamaica Premier League (JPL) first round game played at the St Elizabeth Technical Sports Complex on Wednesday.
The win was the biggest for Dunbeholden FC this season and almost matched their previous total output of five goals scored through 11 games.
The St Catherine- based club shot up to seventh place in the points table, on 17 points, one more than Arnett Gardens and one point behind sixth- placed Chapelton Maroons, with a game in hand on both teams.
It was Treasure Beach’s fourth straight loss as they remained in 13th place on 12 points, two points behind 12th place Harbour View.
Chevoy Watkin opened the scoring in the 20th minute as Dunbeholden FC led 1-0 at half time before Terron Williams doubled the advantage in the 53rd minute.
Marlon Allen made the scores 3-0 when he scored in the 58th minute before Damion Binns who came off the bench in the 73rd minute added the fourth in the fifth minute of time added in the second half.
