Two persons of interest surrender, four still at large — St Elizabeth police
ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica — The St Elizabeth police say two of the six men listed as persons of interest in ongoing murder investigations in the parish turned themselves in on Tuesday.
They are Shane Brown and Michael McNeish, also called “Johnny” or “Busha”, both of New Town, Black River, St Elizabeth, who were being sought in relation to the murder of Basil Bruce on Saturday, January 3, 2026.

The remaining four are being advised to report to the police immediately.
They are:
— Andre Blackwood, also called “Squit Squit” of Dry Cave Road, Siloah, St Elizabeth, who is wanted in a case of assault at common law and possession of a prohibited weapon committed on August 29, 2025, in Windsor District, St Elizabeth;
— An individual known only as “Fido” from Rice Piece District, St Elizabeth. He is being sought in connection with the murder of Darrieo Smith, committed on Friday, December 26, 2025, about 4:00 am at Cuffies Pen in Lacovia, St Elizabeth;
— Ashaune Wint, also called “Not Nice” of Giddy Hall, St Elizabeth and 73 St Johns’s Road, Spanish Town, St Catherine. He is being sought in relation to the murder of Albert Smith, committed on Friday, January 2, 2026, about 9:00 pm at Crawford Main Road in Black River, St Elizabeth; and
— Johnoi Linton, also called “Bad Oil” from Peacock Heights in New Town, Black River, St Elizabeth, who is being sought in relation to the murder of Basil Bruce.
