Two arrested after firearm, ammo seized in St Mary
ST MARY, Jamaica—A man and a woman are now in custody following the seizure of a firearm in Spicy Grove, Oracabessa in St Mary, on Saturday, January 10.
Reports from the Oracabessa Police are that at about 5:30 am, a police team conducted an operation at a premises where a house was searched.
During the search, a 9mm Beretta with a magazine affixed containing six 9mm rounds was found concealed under a mattress.
The firearm was seized, and the occupants were taken into custody.
Their identities are being withheld pending further investigation.
