Apprentice rider Jaheim Anderson had an incredible day at Caymanas Park on Saturday, January 10, 2026, scoring three wins on the 10-race card. It was his first three-timer of his career.
Anderson started his celebration in the fourth race aboard the Tensang Chung-conditioned
Joyful Surprise. Joful Surprise made one move to win by 2 lengths in the $750,000 Restricted Allowance V contest for native-bred four-year-olds and upward (non-winners of two) and imported four-year-olds and upward (maidens) over 9 furlongs and 25 yards. Joyful Surprise won ahead of
Roaring Kitty (Jerome Innis) and Beneison (Dane Dawkins) in 1:59.2 (28.0 x 50.4 x 1:15.4 x 1:43.1).
His second came in the seventh race when he won aboard Gelroy for trainer Cashbert Khwalsingh. The race was a $750,000 Restricted Allowance IV contest for native-bred five-year-olds and upward (non-winners for three) and imported five-year-olds and upward (non-winners of two) over 5 furlongs (1,100m) straight. Gelroy was sent off at odds of 11-1 by a length ahead of Lucy on the Go (Shaheem Gordon) and Radam (Raddesh Roman) in 1:01.4 (25.2 x 49.0).
The cap came in the very next race after Anderson booted home Skill at Arms in $730,000 Maiden Special Weight contest for native-bred four-year-olds and upward over four furlongs (800m).
Skill at Arms, trained by Marlon Brown, came from behind runners to win by 1 ¼ lengths, beating
Abhay (Andre Powell) and Black Ringo (Phillip Parchment). The winning time was 0:49.4 (24.1 x 35.3).
