JCF announces leadership changes
KINGSTON, Jamaica —The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) high command has announced that several assistant commissioners of police (ACP) and superintendents have been reassigned to different divisions.
Commander for the Area Five Division ACP Christopher Phillips has been reassigned to the Area Three Division, and ACP Howard Chambers, in charge of specialised operations, will replace him in the Area Five Division.
Meanwhile, ACP Calvin Allen, commander for the area three division, will now lead specialised operations.
ACP Gary McKenzie, head of the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch (PSTEB), has been reassigned to the strategic operations portfolio, while Commanding Officer for the St Thomas Division, Superintendent Micheal Campbell, has been reassigned to the PSTEB.
Commanding Officer for the Kingston Central Division, Rohan Ritchie, will now take command of St Thomas.
Superintendent Mishka Forbes from strategic operations will take control of the Kingston Central Division.
Sixteen deputy superintendents and one assistant superintendent were also transferred to various sections and formations of the forces.
The reassignments will reportedly take effect on January 21.
