ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — A reputed gang leader who was wanted for murder and multiple acts of violence was captured by the St Catherine South police on Monday.

Bloodstain has been featured several times in the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s (JCF) Wanted Wednesdays campaign and was wanted for the 2017 murder of Andrew Foster and for wounding another man on Fenbrook Avenue in St Andrew.
He is also a person of interest in several other investigations, including a recent double murder in the St Andrew South Division and was the sixth man who managed to escape on July 21, 2025, after a police team thwarted a murder plot on Jacks Hill Road.
The police also reported that two additional individuals were arrested during Monday’s operation.
According to reports, at approximately 7:10 pm, members of the St Catherine South Special Operations team conducted an intelligence-driven operation in Phoenix Park Village. Upon their arrival, officers observed two men and a woman at the location. The men attempted to evade the police but were quickly intercepted and detained along with the woman, the police said.
All three individuals were taken into custody. A subsequent search of the premises reportedly led to the seizure of several items, including multiple cellular phones, laptops, a card reader, and a sum of Jamaican and United States currency.
Head of the Crime and Security Portfolio, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Richard Stewart ,said this outcome shows the JCF’s commitment to the rule of law and the preservation of life when suspects choose to submit to lawful arrest.
“The capture of this highly violent man underscores the validity of our appeal to suspects to surrender into custody and not to raise their guns at the police when confronted. The JCF continues to urge those with outstanding warrants to turn themselves in to the nearest police station,” said DCP Stewart.
The identities of the other man and woman, who were detained during the operation, are being withheld pending further investigations.
