48-hour curfew extended in sections of St Andrew South Police Division
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The 48-hour curfew imposed in sections of the St Andrew South Police Division has been extended.
The curfew will continue from 6:00 pm on Wednesday, January 14, and will remain in effect until 6:00 pm on Friday, January 16.
The boundaries of the curfew are:
East: From Chisholm Avenue/Maxfield Avenue traveling southerly to East Avenue intersecting at Marcus Garvey Drive
South: From the coastline at Marcus Garvey Drive vicinity East Avenue to Duhaney River
West: From the Duhaney River to Kingston Harbour
North: From Happy Grove community drawn to Chisholm Avenue/Maxfield intersection following the divisional boundary.
Individuals within the boundaries of the curfew are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
