Gas prices up $0.25, diesel up $0.11
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, January 15, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
90-octane will be sold for $154.44 per litre after an increase of $0.25, while 87-octane will be sold for $147.84 per litre up by $0.25.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $158.27 per litre after an increase of $0.11 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $164.64 per litre $0.25.
Kerosene increased by $0.25 and will be sold for $144.56 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $71.34 per litre down by $1.42 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $78.39 per litre after an increase of $1.42.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
