Chang not hospitalised, says Ministry of National Security
KINGSTON, Jamaica— The Ministry of National Security and Peace has moved to refute claims that Minister of National Security and Peace Dr Horace Chang is hospitalised.
The ministry, in a media release on Friday, said Dr Chang, who underwent elective surgery in late 2025, has been recovering well since being discharged.
“The minister did not suffer a health emergency, and such rumours are baseless and fictitious. The ministry stands with the rest of the government in the fight against the spread of misinformation and disinformation shared with the intent of misleading and distracting the public,” it said.
The ministry said the security and peace minister has also reiterated that he is “fine and recovering well”.
