Townsend, Parchment, Roman face fines

The Stewards announce the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, Unit 15-17 Big Buy Plaza, Portmore, St Catherine, on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.

Jockey SHAVON TOWNSEND who rode NATIVE FLYER in the sixth race on Saturday, December 27, 2025 was fined $10,000 for the intimidation and interference caused to BANGARANG in the vicinity of the 100 metre point.

Jockey PHILLIP PARCHMENT who rode CAPTAIN FANTASTIC in the third race on Saturday, January 3, 2026 was fined $7,500 for the excessive use of his whip.

Jockey RADDESH ROMAN who rode SUCCESSFUL MAN in the seventh race on Saturday, January 3, 2026 was fined $10,000 for the intimidation and interference caused to ANOTHER MISSION approaching the 200-metre point.
