Nhu Van Nguyen to visit Jamaica, ahead of Miss Global Jamaica coronation show
Twenty-six young ladies are vying for the title of Miss Global Jamaica 2026 and for a chance to represent Jamaica at Miss Global 2026.
The grand coronation is scheduled for this Saturday, January 24, at the Douglas Orane Auditorium, Wolmer’s Boys’ School.
The reigning Miss Global 2025, Nhu Van Nguyen, is scheduled to arrive in Jamaica this Wednesday for an official visit.
This landmark visit represents the first-ever official visit by a reigning Miss Global to Jamaica.
The occasion signals Jamaica’s strengthened presence within the Miss Global Organization and its continued evolution as a respected contributor to global pageantry.
During her visit, Miss Global 2025 will be accompanied by Jamaica’s very own Keri-Ann Greenwood, Miss Global Jamaica 2025 and Miss Global 1st Runner-Up.

The two queens will participate in a series of high-level engagements, including courtesy meetings with government representatives and official franchise activities.
For Keri-Ann Greenwood, the visit carries both personal and national significance.
“I’m incredibly excited to welcome my sister-queen back into my world, this time on Jamaican soil. Our journeys have shown that pageantry is more than a moment and that it can be a movement. We’ve committed to inspiring realistic change for women, both here in Jamaica and globally,” Greenwood shared in an interview with Observer Online.
National director of Miss Global Jamaica, Jermane Blair, described the moment as one that transcends ceremony.
“This visit is as inspirational as it is historic. To host a reigning Miss Global while celebrating the achievements of our own Keri-Ann Greenwood is a powerful reminder of what is possible when preparation meets opportunity. Jamaica is not just participating in global pageantry; we are shaping it,” said Blair.
