Tivoli Gardens and Arnett Gardens seek to rebound from losses
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Tivoli Gardens and Arnett Gardens will both be hoping to rebound from losses last week when they take on Molynes United and Waterhouse FC, respectively, in a Jamaica Premier League (JPL) second-round double header at the Anthony Spaulding Complex on Monday.
Tivoli Gardens, who are in seventh place, could return to the top six with a win over 11th placed Molynes United, while Arnett Gardens would close the gap on the play-off spots with a win over Waterhouse FC, who are in 10th position.
Molynes United had held Tivoli Gardens to a 1-1 draw in the first round, and after just one loss in their last seven games, will be confident they can get something from the game.
Arnett Gardens were outclassed by Chapelton Maroons last week, going down 3-0 and will be going after an immediate rebound against a struggling Waterhouse team they had beaten 2-1 in the first round.
Waterhouse FC have won once in their last 11 games, managing just six goals over that span and must start scoring if they are to claw their way out of the bottom half of the tables.
Monday’s games:
Molynes United vs Tivoli Gardens — Anthony Spaulding Complex at 5:30 pm
