Gas prices up $0.45, $0.47, diesel up $2.00
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, January 22, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
90-octane will be sold for $154.89 per litre after an increase of $0.45, while 87-octane will be sold for $148.31 per litre up by $0.47.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $160.27 per litre after an increase of $2.00 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $166.64 per litre $2.00.
Kerosene increased by $3.06 and will be sold for $147.64 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $70.57 per litre down by $0.77 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $78.64 per litre after an increase of $0.25.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
