48-hour curfew imposed in sections of the St Mary extended
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The curfew imposed in sections of the St Mary policing division has been extended for another 48 hours.
The extension took effect from 6:00 pm on Friday, January 23, and will remain in force until 6:00 pm on Sunday.
The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:
WEST: From Kampla Drive in the Tyall Housing Scheme, along an imaginary line to the intersection of the Free Hill and Oxford roadways.
SOUTH: From the Free Hill and Oxford roadway intersection, along an imaginary line to the intersection of Geddes Town and Sand Hill.
EAST: From the Geddes Town and Sand Hill intersection, along an imaginary line to the Cross Road in Top Oxford.
NORTH: From the Cross Road in Top Oxford, along an imaginary line back to the fording at Kampla Drive in the Tyall Housing Scheme.
During the hours of the curfew, people within the boundaries are required to remain indoors unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander.
